2Pac, betrayed not by traditional enemies, but by the resentment of a developing friendship. His ideologies and longing for independent success created a deep-seated envy in those who watched his every move from a far. Eyes that once mirrored his hunger now reflected a bitter, jagged resentment. "They" chose to extinguish the sun rather than learn how to grown in its warmth.
